What I noticed about all the tracks is that all of them have a particular groove to them that seems to involve refraining from playing on the 4th beat on some measures for some instruments. In addition, some of the consecutive 1/8 notes are swung. Other than that it’s still standard techno music with a 4/4 kick drum. I’m not sure whether this is true of all schaffel techno but it’s true for this EP. If you’re a musician that makes techno, you may want to try the technique above. I did and found the results quite interesting.
The above things make this album quite different sounding compared to normal techno. So, try the EP if you’re bored of standard techno.

There are a few reasons why I liked this track. Firstly, I liked the strummed chords and the bassline. This and the sweet melody at the end seals the deal.
