This is one EP where I think it’s important to read the description that is posted on the netlabel site before you dive in. This will probably help you enjoy the music more. So, I’m reposting the description here for your convenience.
traveller ep … a strange exhibition of electronic beats and sounds by henri.petterson. if you listen to these tracks you can get the impression that you feel safe with this kind of easy rhythms, these simple hypnotic beats … hard on the edge to get very annoying … and then … at the time you think you know everything you get confused by some unexpected moves …

To me, this EP is sometimes pleasing to the ear and sometimes a very stressful listen. Overall, it has a pretty grim mood akin to most techno music which should ideally feature weird sounding robots that can destroy the world in a blink of the eye. With that said, the best way to listen to this EP is, you guessed it, loud. If you listen to it at a low volume, you’ll mostly suffer brain death from missing out too many of the subtle details. Also, try not to listen to it without a subwoofer because again you won’t be able to feel the vibes. Brain death will again ensue without fail in this case. Don’t listen to this if you’re doing something that puts you under a lot of tension. If you do, you’ll turn into a pile of stress and will be worthy prey of some giant robot from outer space.
With all those precautions in mind, I can safely that this is a very potent and dangerous EP. Listen at your own risk.
Favourite tracks:
My space
The Calm Before the Storm
Noises
I didn’t like this track at first until I finally noticed the robotic voice uttering the phrase “My Brain is Full of Noises” on something like my 15th listen to this EP. Bottom line is “Listen to it loud”.
Faktor Mensch
By the time you’ve reached this track in the album, you’re probably already in some kind of drugged trance. This track will wake you up with it’s wicked fast beats.
