I’m not sure whether you can say that you’ve ever heard of job specific music but here I am befuddled as an artist names her album as one for students. Technically, this isn’t a student genre of music. It can be described as mood music or maybe soundscape music or even background music for movies or horror-genre video games. I guess the whole idea of soundscapes brings out the idea of movies which brings out a variety of emotions. A lot of the music on this EP sounds like music for scenes where people have their emotions under pressure.

“As I sit here writing this entry for gratisvibes, the areas of my mind echo with emptiness. My head fills with images of the past. Yet, I cannot see what hides from me. For I am alone in this dank dark room at 7:00 a.m. in the morning…”

The above situation or any other similar situation as above is very suitable for describing the mood of this music. Maybe it intentionally symbolizes the various darker moods that students experience when they’re busy on a harsh deadline or had another emotional trainwreck from breaking up with this person or the next. Anyway, if you have been a student before, you’ll appreciate this album. On the unlikely situation where you have not been a student before, then you’ll still appreciate it for it the range of sad emotions it evokes.

This track could have been happy but you ruined it. Damn you! It’s a great track though.

Deep meditative pad sounds fill out this track. Music for that brooding creature that is man.
