According to this information description at Sutemos, this album is not only a Christmas gift from the popular IDM netlabel, it is also serves as a prelude or teaser to more of the great releases that they are going to have soon.

Other than Sleepy Town Manufacture, I am not familiar with most other artists involved in this album. Despite the fact that this album is a live album, without any knowledge about it being done live, I do not think anyone would believe that it is recorded outside of the studio, which is a good thing.

The qualities of the tracks are superb. Mostly minimal and techno. It starts with a rather monotonous but interesting track from Monolake, then evolves into somewhat dancey and trancey tune from SCSI-9 (which actually makes a nice high-point of the album), and slows down to the minimal track from Sleepy Town Manufacture and ends with an ambient techno track from Yagya. All the tracks are pretty interesting, but my favourite would be the two I featured on the sample player - SCSI-9’s The End and Yagya’s A Thousand Words. Personally I am rather disappointed with the track Sleepy Town Manufacture has done for this album as I think it is a little too minimal to fit in.

Overall, a great album to chill to. Dim the lights, sip in some wine, and relax to the minimal sounds of Sutemos Live EP. The fact that they are done live gives them more pub-like feelings when being listened to.
