If you are new to IDM, this is where you should start. The mood of this double CD compilation varies, however it still flows smoothly from one song to the other, thanks to the great work by the producers at sutemos. From this compilation, I’m sure you would be discovering more good electronic music artists, some of which do provide CC-licensed music at their respective websites. For the links to the individual artists, simply visit the download page linked below.
Favourite tracks:
Ulrich Schnauss - Suddenly The Trees Are Giving Away
- Have anyone heard a bad track from Ulrich? On top of that, this track, in my opinion, is the best track I’ve heard from Ulrich so far and he’s releasing it under the CC-licenced compilation album!
Mint - When I Was Yours
- A rather unusual piece of music yet very interesting and easy-listening.
EU - Reruw
- The harder track on the album. Makes a nice wake up call while you’re falling asleep to the slow soothing tracks in the album.
And a lot others. I am very tempted to list all of the tracks here. This compilation is just too good to be believed that they’re releasing it for free, but it’s true! Thanks to sutemos and all the artists invovled.

But still, Ulrich Schnauss’s Suddenly The Trees Are Giving Away is still the best on the list. Thanks for bringing these pieces to my attention cuz.
