Strictly speaking, the music is not blatant in exhibiting its sexuality. We’re not assaulted instantly by moans and grunts of sexual activity, but instead are slowly but surely introduced to these sexy elements hidden in the mix. As a matter of fact, if you didn’t know the theme of the album, you may not even have associated this EP with any sort of sexuality.
So, indeed, it is safe to play this even if you have minors around the house. The album has a lot of nice breaks and the groove is excellent for the most part. Interestingly, the sound transitions to almost lo-fi breakcore on the later parts of all the tracks which provides for another sort of listening experience.
Great track:
01. Flowers Suite
Lots of breaks here to hold your attention. The simple organish pads offer enough melodic content to keep you happy while the breakbeats and decimated vocals work their magic.
Watch out for the screeching sound at the 09:55 mark and at the end of the track though which is certainly effective as a musical device but surely not something most people want to hear at full volume.
