This very album by Lackluster is the first ever release of the netlabel Monotonik, dated year 1999. This album should prove how talented Lackluster is; when music technology was not that advanced and cheaply available as it is today, Lackluster could write such wonderful IDM/Ambient tracks which noone would have believed it is done more than 7 years ago.
Listen to the veteran of IDM musician, listen to this album.
Favourite tracks:
OTK Eklan (Lacklustermx) - Beautifully written piece of music which is both soothing and energetic. Yes, they’re opposites, but listen to how the expert did it perfectly.
20333 - I do not know what the number signifies, but this song sure makes a good listen. With soothing melodic with occasion energetic beats done Lackluster-style, you’ll definitely fall in love with this masterpiece.

October 3rd, 2006 at 4:46 pm[…] Samples may not be of optimum audio quality. This is not a studio album/EP but a live recording by one of my favourite IDM artists, Lackluster. If you remembered, we have reviewed one of his albums a couple of months ago, CDR #2. Coincidentally, a few of the tracks from the album, like Starcell UK and Cull Streak, are chosen to be part of this live set. […]

January 24th, 2007 at 3:22 pmOTK is a band from czech republic or something such, they came up with the Eklan name.
20333, the original module i saved was “203.it” then i did another version, 2033.it then another, 20333.it so its the third version of 203.it which was just anything to quickly save a track.
starcell u.k. is an anagram of lackluster, cull streak is an anagram of lackluster, ulcer stalk is an anagram of lackluster.
teramut is just a trackname, cant remember how i came up with it, it just sounded like it.
me me me me me me is me wallowing in self-pity, therefore obvious trackname.
0today8.it started as 0today.it, a quick trackname to save as, then 8th version.. and so did 0tilde5.it.. i often just save as any old name, to quickly save atrack and not lose it, then keep going back to it and making new versions of it. hence the catch22 for instance. 22 edits of a introtrack.
i think thats it! the rest make some sense (bothersome (mother mix) is a remix of the track bothersome’s melody, which is available on one of the other “albums” someone else put up (”distance” / “fin chip pimp”).
hope this helps.
