Gratisvibes aims to lead readers to the best of free or Creative Commons-licensed Electronic Music on the web, spreading the word for greater musical freedom for both artists and listeners alike.
The editors:
Adrian Lo hails from the Electronic Music Lab (EML) in the National University of Singapore and is relatively new to the field of electronic music composition. He mostly composes melodic electronica that contains recurring and heavily processed beats and is heavily inspired by videogame and beaty melodic IDM music. As a fellow bedroom composer, he feels a strong connection to other independent musicians who have created music that Adrian listens to all the time on his Ipod. Gratisvibes.com presents an opportunity for Adrian to give back to the community that created what he feels are some of the best tracks he has ever listened to.

Chua U-Zyn (aka uzyn), like Adrian, comes from Electronic Music Lab. He listens to quite a bit of IDM and composes quite a bit of them too. Even though his composing activities have slowed down a little to concentrate on his web development works, he is still constantly trying to discover new and good electronic music. Gratisvibes is here to help him record down what he has discovered and also to share the good ones with you. He believes that good music need not be expensive music and strongly encourage musicians to release music under Creative Commons license.

Ikram is still getting into the netlabel scene, and is pleasantly surprised by the high quality of many of the releases. He listens to all sorts of genres, but has a fondness for electro, acid and house and also enjoys the punk attitude of newer genres of breakcore and mashups.
